Cutting corners on prep is how coatings fail. Here is how we approach each garage floor project from start to finish.
We inspect the existing concrete for moisture issues, cracks, previous coatings, and any surface damage before recommending the right coating system for your garage.
The floor is mechanically ground or shot-blasted to open the concrete profile. Cracks and spalls are repaired so the coating has a clean, stable surface to bond to.
We apply the base coat, decorative flake or metallic layer if selected, and a durable topcoat in the proper sequence, following manufacturer specifications for thickness and cure time.
Once the coating has cured, we walk through the finished garage with you, check coverage and edges, and confirm the surface meets our standards before we pack up.

Most single or two-car garage floors can be completed in one to two days. The timeline depends on the size of the space, the condition of the concrete, and which coating system is selected.

Yes, the floor needs to be completely clear of vehicles, shelving, and stored items before we arrive. This lets us prep and coat the entire surface without gaps or missed sections.

Epoxy is a proven, durable base coat often used under a polyaspartic topcoat. Polyaspartic cures faster, resists UV yellowing better, and handles temperature swings well. Many garage systems use both together.

Polyaspartic topcoats handle heat much better than standard epoxy alone. We recommend a polyaspartic finish for Charlotte garages specifically because of the heat and humidity the region sees.

Light foot traffic is typically fine within 24 hours. Vehicle traffic usually requires 48 to 72 hours of full cure time. We'll confirm the specific window for your project based on the products used.
