Outdoor coatings fail when the prep work is skipped. Here is how we approach every patio and pool deck project from first look to final coat.
We walk the surface with you, check for cracks, spalling, or moisture issues, and discuss finish options that fit your outdoor space and how you use it.
The concrete is cleaned, ground, or shot-blasted to open the profile. Any cracks or divots get filled before coating begins. This step is what separates a lasting result from a peeling one.
We apply the base coat, broadcast decorative flakes or texture as needed, then seal the surface with a UV-resistant topcoat rated for outdoor use in high-heat climates like Charlotte.
Once the coating cures, we do a full walkthrough with you to confirm coverage, texture consistency, and that the surface is ready for foot traffic and water exposure.

Yes. We broadcast a fine aggregate or use texture additives specifically designed for wet surfaces. The result is a noticeably grippier surface compared to bare or painted concrete, which matters most right at the pool edge.

Most older slabs can be coated after proper prep. We fill cracks and grind the surface before applying anything. Very severe structural cracking may need a concrete repair contractor first, and we will tell you that honestly during the assessment.

Most residential patios and pool decks are completed in one to two days, depending on size and the condition of the existing concrete. Larger commercial pool decks may take longer. We give you a realistic timeline before we start.

We use UV-stable topcoats designed for direct sun exposure. Charlotte summers regularly push surface temps well above air temperature, so using an outdoor-rated system is something we consider on every project, not an upsell.
